|Date:||Fri, Mar 9, 2018|

Join Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers on Friday, March 9th while we explore Rancho Salina Vineyard with owner and winegrower, Domenic Paino.
The day will begin with coffee, pastries, and and introduction to the site. Dom, who has been farming the Rancho Salina Vineyard for over 30 years, will lead the group through various vineyard blocks of the property, identifying key aspects that make the Rancho Salina site so unique. Planted on the rocky southwest facing slope of Moon Mountain, overlooking Sonoma Valley and bordering iconic historical vineyards like Monte Rosso and Hanzell - this is the ideal location for growing bordeaux varieties.
The group will end the morning at Muscardini Cellars tasting room for a vertical tasting and discussion of their "Rancho Salina Red Wine", followed by a wine country picnic lunch catered by Chef Catherine Venturini at Cuvee Wine Country Events.
